I live in Dundee, Scotland with my wife and two grown up children. Having worked in the construction industry for nearly 40 years I retired and decided to realise a long held dream to write a novel. How difficult could it be!!!

Nearly three years later, Island Wars was unleashed and introduced Detective Chief Inspector Angus McIntosh, the grouchy chief of the Elite Investigations Unit. McIntosh is no fan of the Establishment. He despises entitlement and those with a superiority complex but his sharp tongue and potty mouth has been known to get him into trouble!

Resistance, the second in the McIntosh series, tests his loyalty, friendship and family, the things he treasures most. His natural aversion to authority and hatred of power mad idiots is also challenged.
